No More Pain
A girl walks alone at night, dreading the fact that she will have to go home again. They don't love her there. She can’t remember the last time she felt love. It wasn’t always like this. When she was younger she knew her parents loved her, but one day when she came home from school, there stood her daddy, waiting for her. She walked inside and her daddy starts hitting her, hard. At school the next day everybody asks about the bruises. She lies and says that she fell down the stairs. Now, as she walks home, she hopes that it will be the last time she looks at her arm and sees the bruises from her daddy. She wishes she could leave and never comeback, run to a place where her daddy would never be able to harm her again. She begins to run faster and faster away from her home. She stops at a park and lays her small body under a tree, falling asleep. The little girl wakes up in an unfamiliar place, but she feels at home for the first time in a longtime. She looks up and sees a man holding her in his arms and realizes her daddy has beat her for the last time. He can't harm her anymore because now, she is home in gods arms.
