Bullying By Mackenzie Collins
I’m sick of the discrimination
The loud idiotic confrontation
Of this giant hypocritical nation.
Where people look the other way
Pretend they don’t hear what they say
Pretending their world isn’t in decay
Victims just accept that it’s life
But words shouldn’t feel like a knife
Not just ignore and say it’s alright
It shouldn’t be happening
The morals are just saddening
And watching it is maddening
Feeling powerless and angry
Torn apart and weary
Dealing with this tyranny
When did we become complacent?
When did we forget what’s decent?
Why is this abuse so frequent?
When did we forget we’re human?
When did love become a sin?
When did we forget what was written?
When life becomes hell on earth
When we treat others like dirt
When betterment is inert
Humanity is on a downward slope
When there isn’t a scrap of hope
When your savior is a chair and rope
When you look in the mirror with disgust
Because the world’s unjust
When your protectors break your trust
When will it be enough?
When life has lost its meaning
And loving is demeaning
When the tears are finally streaming
When will you let them have peace?
When will the pain finally cease?
It starts with you.
